like the bearing was off
I have a Mac Mini 2011. The OEM fan was starting to make a consistent low grinding noise, like the bearing was off.Cleaning it with compressed air would work for a few months, but it just got worse and worse.I replaced the fan with this unit and the Mac Mini has been quite ever since. Got around the end of 2015.
