I was also amazed that my 2013 Subaru WRX hatch didn't originally come with this guard. My previous 2010 Subaru WRX hatchback had it from the start, I never understood why newer models were neglected. In any case, this part arrived quickly. I would have preferred it in a box and just a plastic mailer instead. I think it's ok as I didn't receive it damaged or bent. It is very easy to install, the instructions are clear and beautiful. Looks good on my car too!
