PRO: Works. I used a MOVO Lav microphone connected to the microphone. I checked it and when I did I had to run it through a different adapter to match my USB-C port on my DELL 13 inch laptop. The device will mute your speakers so make sure you don't log in with headphones Install the speakers separately on your laptop for it to work CONS: not noted, I'd like the same ones in the Microsoft C variant so I no need to lay an adapter cable to my laptop. Yes I would buy it again and recommend it to a friend Great price and it works I'm happy.
