Great Radiator Muffler
I have a radiator in my bedroom that keeps rattling and rattling. It stays hot all the time as it has no on/off switch. I can't sleep with all the noise and heat so I bought this sweat blanket and wrapped it around the radiator. Works wonders! It completely muffles the noise and keeps the heat from frying me. This probably violates all known fire safety regulations, but it certainly works. From time to time I unfold it and check for horrible burn marks. So far there have been no burn marks or even medium brown spots. If you attempt this, be careful when unrolling the blanket as fiberglass is a messy material that can get on your carpet, clothes, skin, etc.
