Review on 🏞️ Organic & High-Quality Hermit Sand Substrate Blend by Crystal Bryant

My hermit crab died in this sand. After replacing the old PetSmart sand with Fluker sand, my hermit crabs started spending more time outside of the sand. Two managed to stay away. A hermit crab that couldn't find an escape route died. The two surviving crabs stay either on their hidden coconut shells or other hiding spots. They are used to stuffing everything in a coconut shell to hide it. Since I put the bowl on the sand, my crabs haven't spent any time in it. They seem to prefer being completely open and sleeping without cover. At first it seemed very strange to me. Luckily they survived. This sand is wet. I'm surprised it doesn't dry out like baby slime or kinetic sand. I can't say that the sand was the direct cause of the hermit crab killing. But I can say with certainty that one died after introducing my hermit crabs to this sand. I do not recommend this product.
