They work really well on something round/curved I originally got them by removing rust from my iron fence which has a lot of bent metal bits on it 4 sizes have worked great on different parts of the fence A problem I have initially had was that the screw that expands the rubber drum to keep the sandpaper tightened over time when the bit was set to 'forward' My solution was to change the direction of the drill while working from Change from time to time, this way the drum never got too tight or loose.
