For an entire year, I wore this braid. Not easily torn or tangled. Even a knot on a leash could not be ripped off, so I had to cut it off from the shore with a heavy hook. There was a review of the yacht up there; I have no reason to doubt its veracity. On the lake, he found himself entangled in a snag, which caused him to spin in a complete circle. It was an excellent idea to venture thus far into the Taiga in search of additional spinning rods. The paint flaking from the fishing film is the only real drawback. It's not a major deal breaker for me.
