Add another layer to your personal safety

I bought these for my wife and daughter to take with them whenever they go somewhere. I'm considering taking it with me and sounding the alarm if necessary and maybe even throwing it a few yards to distract the threat while I reach for pepper spray or my 9mm depending on the threat. . It would be an unexpected distraction for the threat. If it gets it working, great! If he reaches for it to turn it off, he'll be pepper sprayed or shot as a last resort.
