What a wonderful invention! I only wish we had bought it sooner. Lubricating the kingpin and fifth wheel is completely eliminated. We regularly have to remove the trailer hitch from the truck bed. If it had fat on it in the past, it seemed like we always had fat on it. Now that we have this fat slab, that's all in the past! We pull a 35-foot-5. Wheel. So far, after a year of motorhome operation, the wheel lubrication plate shows no signs of wear apart from a slight deformation of the plastic. This does not affect the use of the plate in any way. Once you attach the Rv it will flatten out. It stays in place and does NOT move or fall. We never cleaned the old grease off our hitch before installing this plate and it's still holding up great. We could have gotten by with the 10" version, but the 12" was at a better price. We decided that a few inches advantage was worth the difference in price. You'll be glad you updated!
