I wish I had had it a long time ago. I don't know how long it will last as I've only ridden it a few thousand miles. The new clutch looks new so far. It slips on easily and beautifully and stays in place when unhooked.

Less rigid than previous disc, squeaks less and wears very well. It also sits well on the hairpin and will not fall off. 12" protects better than 10", personal preference. i love this stuff

Does what it's supposed to. After several uses, it does not stay on the pivot. Holds the broadcast when I try to connect the fifth wheel to my truck. The slightest hit makes him fall. Switched to a similar article by Kurt and had no issues with Kurt's article shifting.

On our current fifth wheel, I really didn't want any metal-to-metal contact in the kingpin area, nor did I want to use lube as it's a mess. The Camco lubricating plate is ideal for both of the problems listed above. I expect this plate to last a few years but for the price I wouldn't be too upset if something happened to it.

This year we replaced the bumper trailer with a 5th wheel. After a few rides I realized I needed to grease the joint as the paint on the clutch had gotten pretty rough. Luckily I found this as the lube would be so messy. I'll leave the hitch in the truck all summer and the grease will go everywhere. These things are GREAT! I do 2-3 of these a year. Not because it's a bad product. The product is really amazing because you don't have to use lube on the 5th wheel but because I have a bad habit of mismatching the pin and breaking one of them into pieces. The plate provides a slippery surface for my fifth wheel so I can walk on it without binding. No more greasing the plate. The grease plate is mounted on the fifth wheel pivot and stays there while I hitch the truck. However, I have found that after you've pulled the fifth wheel a few miles and unhooked the truck, the grease plate falls off the pin.
