The cables came out on the first sample of the project.

Overall I am very happy with the Knitter's Pride needles. However, when I received this kit and started doing a rehearsal, the cables in the needle head immediately began to loosen. The cable is pulled out completely with slight pressure. I sent it back for a refund. I carried the same brand in a size 7 and have used their DPN and am generally happy with the quality but this set was awful and useless (in a project that was also time limited).
