The first impression was that I like the overall appearance of the device very much. "Chrome" is too bright but still looks good. What disappointed me the most is that the dial does not light up. It really looks like it should. It almost looks buggy because it is NOT lit. The only features I've used so far are the radio and CD player. and Bluetooth. Everything seems to be working fine. BT connects easily to your smartphone. I doubt I will ever use a cassette player. As for the turntable, I'd like to take some vinyl with me just for nostalgia, but it doesn't matter. As for the sound, I wasn't expecting it, big, room-filling, deep bass. So the sound didn't disappoint me at all. This is not a party car. Ideal for listening to pre-war music.
