If I could box this junk back up and send it back, I would. It's an expensive piece of plastic tubing and an air filter. The installation instructions were just terrible. My 9 year old could write better installation instructions. Thank goodness a single person posted an installation video on YouTube that I was able to at least use as a reference. Even then, many of the small details needed for installation were skipped or skipped. You might as well throw away the installation guide and just experiment. Same difference with the same results, probably. I have used and installed many CAIs on all my trucks and cars but this is my first time using a K&N product. Never again. I only went with this one because your choices on the 2018 Titan are limited to just two products. I chose wrong! I should have used an AFE product and now I regret it every time I start my truck. For at least a few dollars more you get something of high quality and it looks like they put a little effort into making it. As for the bottom line with K&N, there's not much to say. Airaid on my other Titan works much better and sounds much better. Like I said, it's garbage. If you have a 2nd gen Titan, you'll save some money. Buy something else.
