Permanently unreliable.

I tested this pair about 10 months ago (bought last July) and both failed. I connected my own sound system to my Protege5 as a 3-channel system with speakers in the front and rear doors and a small subwoofer. The first one failed after about 7 weeks (so I couldn't get a refund) but luckily the 19 year old speakers that came with the car still worked so I had them on the driver's door. A few weeks ago I noticed that my tone disappeared (the amp went into protection), and I checked the resistance and boom, instead of 2.5-3 ohms they gave out 14 ohms. The tweeter failed, it was he who broke on the driver's side.
