I am now returning a second one to Revain which has been replaced with one that not glowing high enough to see through the included pattern sheet, let alone the pattern and blank tracing sheet. Three new Duracell batteries used - the switch lights up for a second, then most of the light goes out. Either the switch on both is defective or both pads were defective. 2 for 2 bad units - renounce crayola toys - just hope they can still make pencils that work.
