Doesn't work properly. Often resets the FireWire device, usually during a file transfer. Sometimes it only disconnects the FireWire device for a moment (but long enough to abort the transfer, of course), other times the device disconnects abruptly and you just can't reconnect it. You hear your computer happily singing these little tunes as a device is added, then removed, then added, then removed, and then... you get the picture. It hurts to put the card in the PC when you do it, you at least want it to WORK.
