Review on ViewSonic XG2560 Advanced Ergonomics 1920X1080P Monitor, 240Hz, Adjustable, Full HD by Richard Nordstrom

The only guide that accompanies this monitor is what is called the Quick Start Guide, which consists of a very small diagram of how to connect to a computer tower and information on how to download monitor drivers from the ViewSonic website. I only have a laptop so I don't need a chart here. I have a fast processor, lots of RAM and 1 TBHD. I am using Windows 8.1. I downloaded and installed the drivers. I followed the instructions in the guide I had to download which also didn't take into account the possibility of using a laptop. This monitor and my laptop couldn't recognize each other no matter what I tried. I kept getting a "No Signal" window on my ViewSonic monitor. So to me it's just a decorative sphere taking up space and I have no way of checking its movements. Too bad because I really wanted to see how good it is. Maybe if I ever get a desktop computer again I'll be able to run it.
