So far it's doing its job

I just got this cooler. This is also my first water cooler. So I'll post an update if anything goes wrong. Meanwhile: PROS:= Works a little quietly. Actually, I can't hear the pump. = This frees up a lot of space on the front of the system case, contributing to an overall clean look and easy access to the circuit board. (Which would otherwise be consumed by a CPU fan cooler.) CONS: = If you're someone who loves Christmas lights on your PC components, ignore this con. I, on the other hand, don't turn off my desktop at night and also prefer to turn off the lights in my room when I'm sleeping. So I had to turn off the LEDs on this cooler (CPU puck) when it was installed. But unfortunately, this seemingly simple process is not that easy to perform. To do this, I had to install and keep the unwanted program Corsair LINK installed on my system (leave it installed!). Reasons for not deleting? Well, the Christmas lights come back on after being turned off. So if the LINK software is in autostart mode, they will not work. VERY HANDY!= It will take some time to install, especially if you have never done it before. The pump cables are quite rigid. And overall there are few steps to install it. The heatsink plate and the fans on it are also quite thin, which can cause problems with clearances between the motherboard and the case (like in my case). = An internal USB-2 port is required. So if you don't have enough USB 2 ports on your cell phone, be prepared to sacrifice one for this pump. (However, I could not find an explanation why this needs to be done?)

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • I won't say anything
