Static Shock Issue for my opinion
Second unit I've had that has failed after a static shock when plugging in composite cables during the winter months. Wouldn't be a problem if you were grounded/discharged when connecting, or if you always had the unit connected. But if you have static in your house, take take when connecting this unit.
