I used these as make shift hold downs in the trunk of my Tesla Model Y. These are velcro-ed through the sides and bottom of the subtrunk and protrude on either side. This allows me to hook some bungee cords across the trunk and hold down anything heavy like my folding bikes, etc. If I needed more strength, I could staple them to the sides of the subtrunk but they seemed to be able to hold heavy items down. I wish the Model Y came with built in hold downs but they don't and this works for me.
