Does what you need - like

Note. This is for a Windows 98 computer. Yes, I have a Windows 98 computer. It's a modified modern thin client, so it doesn't have a controller port. I bought the Sidewinder Freestyle Pro in an open box from a reputable auction site. Included was a controller and a floppy disk with software. This adapter should work, but it didn't. (Probably why it was an open box purchase) So I bought one of these. And of course it doesn't work out of the box (bag). But then I took a piece of twisted zip tie (because it holds its shape better than regular wire) and removed the ends and then connected the two pins that other people on the bridge said. And of course the controller is now recognized by Windows 98. Annoying that I had to connect two pins, but that's because there are several different versions of these headers and it only works with one specific connector. But with a little mod it works as intended. Now for Windows 10. The same pin code mod works fine on a computer running Windows 10 Home 64-bit. The computer recognizes the controller and works properly. So if you're looking for Windows 10 support for this controller, it works great. Of course, getting it to work with games is another problem that you have to solve yourself.
