With Kanto yu4 speakers, Deadmu5's "Jaded" bass line sounds just as fantastic as it does on the "Prison Sex" tool. Michael Jackson's PYT is as powerful and clean as Yes's The Fish Schindleria Praematurus. Grand Funk Railroad - I feel it in the morning. (?) Forget it. I listened to music for many hours and quickly switched between different styles and musical arrangements. I didn't have to fiddle with the bass/tribble settings on the Kanto yu4 or the EQ on my laptop, I just "warmed up" the sound a bit. BTW, my laptop is a high end model with a slightly better sound card and accompanying software, and most of my MP3/4 music files are 320kbps and the latest version of Windows Media Player. I played with my auxiliary jack and the Bluetooth signal from my old phone, which I still hold on to because it works like a great MP3 player. BY THE WAY. I have over 10,000 songs. I like music. OK. I really think I can hear the difference between (generally) music developed/mixed in the 60's, 70's and 80's and music mixed since the mid 90's. I think the CD era made music that was a bit recycled and mixed. This may be one of the reasons why this speaker is the best choice for people with turntables who keep their school albums. The u4 was on sale and for only $60 (with remote) I bought the u4 and saved the extra cost of not having to buy a subwoofer. If I connect this to my TV I can get a subwoofer but the sound is great for me without it as I will be using it primarily for bluetooth and computer listening.
