We have a big guy who is scared of the storm and needs shelter so we bought him this very large indoor kennel. It took him a minute to learn to trust him as his little refuge from the storms that scared him, but once he did he loved him! He goes there when he starts hearing heavy rain or thunder (we're in Florida so there are awful storms), settles in, and his house is one of the things that calms him down. It's nice and dark and seems soundproof too. The bedding is soft too, but as you can see we often put the house on another soft bed to give our 65 pound dude an extra pillow. The house is quite sturdy and holds up well. Thank you for a great (and cute) functional product for our toddler.
