Review on REDECKER Wooden Handle 4 Inches Powder Coated by Ricky Long

I love the look of this shovel. However, the first one I received had scratches and scuffs. I sent it back and the second one also has scratches. Not as many as the first ones, but they are there. I think it's a packaging and storage issue. Since they are metal and not individually wrapped (they just come in a plastic bag with no protective packaging) I think shovels come into contact with other shovels and cause damage. In any case, they are currently out of stock at Revain so I can't trade them in for a new one. I love the design so much I really don't want to return it without buying a new one. In any case, cuts and scratches may not bother everyone, but I have a hard time not noticing them. But great product and great brand. I have many Redecker products that I hope will last a very long time. 4 stars for surface damage and poor packaging. Otherwise it would have been full 5 stars.
