Review on 🔧 Dorman 917-107 Exhaust Manifold Repair Clamp: OE FIX for Select Models by Derek Helvie

I read a lot of reviews and decided it's time to order as I'm tired of the exhaust sounds when starting. I was able to install this from under a truck. I drove a truck up ramps and worked from below. I didn't realize it would be easy to remove the wing from this side. My truck had a ground strap that bolted to the head where the top bracket bolt goes. Took it off with a ratchet wrench then installed the bottom screw that holds the bracket in place. Then I put tape on the screw and put the screw in the hole in the head. Not much space and took about 5 minutes but it worked. I used a ratchet wrench and a regular open-end wrench to tighten. It was impossible to get a torque wrench at this place, so I went as far as I could with a wrench. Red Loctite used on all screws according to instructions. The car started, no more exhaust! They work very well and I got the job done in half an hour installing them under the truck. A lot of time saved.
