Review on Tuff Stuff 7068 Alternator: 💪 Powerful 100 Amp Ford 1-Wire V-Groove Solution by Michael Ward

I installed this alternator on my 1981 Thunderbird, it took less than 3 minutes for it to start smoking and the rear center bearing was so hot I couldn't touch it. After a closer inspection, checking the alignment, everything was fine so I started the car again and this time it was making noise and vibrating before I could stop the engine, the alternator bearing seized and the belt snapped. I ordered a replacement because most of the reviews were positive, I'll check it out carefully, it's not a daily driver so I'll have to use it like that for the next 30 days.
