Lasts about 3 months - crappy adapter interface
HD is used to consolidate files to keep them organized. Transferring data, no longer responding. There seems to be a problem with the adapter card connected to the HD - just holding the cable like that spins the drive up. Tried several cables. The saving grace is that I can restore the HD by inserting it into an HD reader. The support options suck - just remove the adapter - but they want to send the whole drive back. Can I pay the shipping cost both ways? Brilliant. I only use my reader that works.
