I ignored all the reviews about these, but I had to listen! I was sure others were just being too picky as my standards were low. The low price and the looks annoyed me anyway. They are incredibly uncomfortable! It feels like there's arch support on either side of the foot, but it's sharper (and I have narrow feet!). I don't think a hard plastic tongue would be that bad (combined with a thick sock), but it added to an already high level of discomfort. I could barely stand in it, let alone skate! I also ignored all the comments about the insoles but no they are just awful! For some reason the insole is a separate piece from the rest of the boot, it's loose, thin and keeps folding on its own. Don't make my mistake - just invest the extra $50 in something that's comfortable. and does not disappoint! The only scenario where I think they can work is for kids who don't care about comfort, or for those who want to replace/repair the insole/boot but then put more money into cheaper skates that are still made.
