Fast and easy to use. I was able to test every lamp I have very quickly without buying a high end UV meter. Teenage seconds on the thermal pad, that's all. I've been able to test all my lightbulbs with alarming results. I've had several lightbulbs that were within the manufacturer's time limits that didn't read at all. I believe this is a must have for any UV sensitive reptile. The only negative I found was that there was no color bar, which makes sense as these cards degrade/fade over time. It's not an exact tool, but for a quick reference, I'm very impressed. Advantages. Very easy to use (10 seconds per warm-up area) Very productive. (two cards for 7.99) Small size (the size of a credit card) Cons. No exact instrument (no manual or chart with approximate UV values)
