Review on 🚴 Shockli Aluminum Alloy Extended Out-Front Bicycle Computer Combo Mount for Garmin Edge 200 500 510 520 800 810 820 1000 1030, Bryton, and GoPro Camera - Compatible with 31.8mm and 25.4mm Handlebars by Kevin Schnitzer

Easily screw on your GoPro and bar, and the inserts are a 21mm design; so stupid.

I really want you to like this bracket. It looks really aerodynamic and I love the design and setup, but the GoPro mount is poorly designed. Every other Go Pro mount I've seen has a plug on the end to prevent over tightening. I think the goal was to make it more aerodynamic and lighter for the serious cyclist, but that doesn't work because in order to upload videos and charge your GoPro you have to detach it from the chassis by screwing it in and out. The bottom of the GoPro isn't meant to be reused, but I can't just screw it on and leave it. They're also 21mm apart instead of the usual 20mm, so you don't have to buy more from SockLi if you're keeping the mount but want to fix a broken Go-Pro screw just because they save some weight and money for just Loctite wanted to. Even without a small rubber pad, it scratched the steering wheel. There are 2 screws on the steering wheel, which is very bad. They also have very poor threading, as does the Go-Pro screw, which comes loose easily. I ended up hating this purchase more and more the more I used it. I received a replacement and the replacement broke after the return date so I'm stuck on Garmin 21mm spares that I can't even use.
