Review on U S Standard Sink Push Drain by Everald Mendez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Easy to install but drains slowly and clogs easily.

The original vent plugs in all my sinks are rusty and difficult to replace. I've been looking for a long time for a plug-in that will keep things from falling down the sink drain and still be easy to remove for cleaning. So far this fork has met that requirement, albeit with some significant drawbacks. The plug is very easy to install - it literally falls down my standard 1.25" drain. It holds water well when closed, but drains rather slowly when open. In particular, when I rinse my toothbrush, the water runs out, drains slowly when the water is turned off, and leaves a residue that then needs to be cleaned. I can fix this by simply removing the drain when I brush my teeth. Drain in place to prevent items from falling. Also, I live in a house full of long haired girls and the screen on these plugs needs to be cleaned about once a week. , as several cotton swabs, makeup brushes, tweezers, hair clips, etc. have been successfully prevented from falling down the drain and further affecting the cleaning work.
