Review on 🐢 Hill's Science Diet Adult Small Bites Chicken & Barley Dry Dog Food by Seth Tezzy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Did my research. An excellent feeding solution for small dogs.

Very small pellets that my 12lb dog needs. This week he had a $300 teeth cleaning under anesthesia, and my vet credited those teeth cleaners as the reason Henry needs fewer cleanings than a typical rescue dog. Yes. I have VCA Nationwide Pet Ins with 90% coverage, for what the veterinary hospital actually charges, not what is "acceptable" in my community. They are fast and never fight me. Hey, if we haven't lost our minds keeping these wonderful rescue dogs who've suffered enough in one lifetime, then we're not good enough to have them. Small dogs can break their teeth into large, hard pieces so easily. Now all I have to do is give up and let my 33 pound rescue dog sneak in and devour whatever he can because it tastes so good. When a veterinarian reads a pet insurance policy and prescribes dog food or supplements that address a dog's health issues, the policy says they're paying for specialty foods like Hill Science Diet for Diabetes. i just saw I need to call the insurance company and get in touch with people who buy products like the Hills Science Diet.

Pros
  • Dry dog food with easily digestible ingredients to meet adult dog energy needs, with few pellets
Cons
  • So far so good
