This light has several uses. I use it as a night light. It can produce white light and the intersity can be adjusted down so that it can be used this way for several nights. At full power, it will last about a night. It can be programmed, using the remote control, to broadcast a single color or it can slowly change from one color to all the other colors it can produce. If you bought the earlier product from CPLA Lighting that was suppose to resemble the moon, this is nothing like that.
