Conclusion: the device turned out to be disposable. I do not recommend buying. Has some pros: In the first two months, the connection via RJ-45 cable with a home ADSL router via TP-LINK UE330 caused no complaints. The work was tested on Windows 10 and Ubuntu 18.04. However, later disconnections began to be observed, which were eliminated by pulling the adapter out of the USB connector on the laptop and inserting it back. Different cons: After 6 months of work, such procedures of switching off and on the adapter have to be performed up to 5-10 times a day, mainly during Zoom sessions, file downloads. There is no need to suspect an overload - the ADSL line, nothing but a mouse was inserted into the adapter's connectors. Problems are equally frequent when working via USB 2.0 and 3.0 on a laptop, the adapter almost does not heat up
