Review on Kleenex Reveal Countertop System Dispenser (51904) - Soft Grey - Compatible with Kleenex Reveal & Premiere Towels by Josh Suter

I had one of these fancy dispensers for the first 6 months, it was reliable. It was also easy to use. When the dispenser was empty, I simply opened the top and pushed a stack of appropriate Kleenex brand paper towels in until it clicked into place. When I closed the lid, the towels went up automatically and everything was fine. But half a year later, the lifting mechanism failed too early for such a promising and expensive device. That is, it no longer lifted a fresh stack of towels to the top of the dispenser when the lid was closed, nor did it lift the remaining towels when towels were used on top of the stack. I tried another stack and then another and another. Repeat failure. It just didn't work. Because the product had a "lifetime warranty," I contacted Kimberly-Clark to have the unit repaired or replaced. I have requested, received and submitted the official KC Warranty Claim Form. It took a while, but KC sent a new block. I was pleasantly impressed that they stood behind their product. The problem was that the new device was defective - it didn't work any better than the old one. Lest anyone think that the commonality between the two device failures was operator error on my part, I state that I have used the first device with complete success. for six months before leaving. Also, I only used the OEM Kleenex paper towels that were made for this dispenser. So I discard these gizmos and throw them in the trash can. What a pity!
