Review on 🔴 KYB 565018 MonoMax Gas Shock: Enhanced Performance in Red Finish by Marc Sortijas

I bought these shocks for my 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 and it was the worst experience I have ever had. I had the same shocks on my old Dodge and they worked great so I bought them. When I installed them I noticed that the top rubber bushings look small and very soft for this application. My truck is a diesel 4x4 so there's a lot of weight in front of me. When I put the front nuts on, the locknuts were tightened just 1 turn past the nylon insert. I tightened the nuts and thought everything would be fine. I took the car for a test drive and thought everything was fine. The next day I went over the compensator and experienced a fatal turning point in my life. It sounded like the front end was coming out of the truck and the wheel was shaking badly. I had to slow down and hit the brakes hard to stop the wobble. When I got home I checked everything again, everything was tight. I removed the lock nuts and tightened them. The situation was the same as before, only one thread slipped past the locknut nylon. The next morning I went through the same compensator and the same death hesitation reappeared. I contacted Revain and they told me to take them off and send them back. So here I am doing all the work again just to reinstall my old shocks which I did and the wobble is gone. Then I bought new Monroe shock absorbers. I opened up the Monroe to inspect them and immediately noticed that the rubber bushings are the same size and thickness as stock on the truck. I installed the Monroes and then took them for a test ride, went through every bump and expansion joint I could find and the problem went away. No more dying hesitation. Revane was amazing throughout the process. They honored my return, were with me every step of the way and could not have been more helpful. WHY I buy so many things from Revain. I don't buy anything without checking here first.
