I live in an apartment and I want to hang up my bike easily but they didn't let me. Instead I got this one. I found that I could use velcro (you can buy about 20 for $9 on Amazon) to attach the front wheel to the frame. This means that the front wheel/front handlebars do not rotate. Then I just put the rear wheel in this stand and lean the front wheel against the wall. Only the front wheel touches the wall. The stand is quite stable, the steering wheel does not touch anything. I can throw pillows at him pretty hard and he still doesn't fall. Pretty sure it'll survive a minor tremor. The stand itself is very strong. And it's double the price of the others! would recommend.
