Five star stand in garage

Bought my first copy just to try. Seemed too good to be true for the price. Well, a few months later, he's sticking a 30-pound 29er through the front or rear wheel and he's fine. Beware of big tires. I ride a Conti MountainKing 2.4 and I'd say that's the max circumference for this rack without a simple change to the inflator drum. This stand also works well on both my gravel touring bike and my wife's commuter bike. I've been known to use this stand for general work or for cleaning when I don't

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

The best and most economical model I have found

I tried more expensive models before I found this one. Stay away from folding arms unless you need them. The hands in these models tend to move when you touch the bike and then the bike falls over. The maximum tire width for this model is 2.4 inches. My bike with 2.4" tires fits snugly. I've tested it with 20-29" wheels. It supports them all with ease Need to put stands to keep it in place Space if you are loading a bike in.

Can also be used upright

I live in an apartment and I want to hang up my bike easily but they didn't let me. Instead I got this one. I found that I could use velcro (you can buy about 20 for $9 on Amazon) to attach the front wheel to the frame. This means that the front wheel/front handlebars do not rotate. Then I just put the rear wheel in this stand and lean the front wheel against the wall. Only the front wheel touches the wall. The stand is quite stable, the steering wheel does not touch anything. I can throw…

Great for kids bikes!

Simple, inexpensive and works. Great for kids bikes! But it's not strong enough and wide enough to support a men's bike. It also fell if you didn't carefully place and balance the bike in the mount. This was very annoying at first, especially when the motorbike fell on my wife's car in the middle of the night. But I liked it enough to make a simple change and now it works great. My bike won't fall even if someone actually hits it. difficult. πŸ‘ I simply attached (with screws) two extended…

Does the job well. Works on 700c bikes.

Bought this bike rack to store my bike in my shed. The workmanship and the materials used are not bad, especially for a stand in this price range. The width of the V-groove on the underside where the tire sits is such that the stand can accommodate a variety of tire sizes, up to 29" MTB tires. I use it on a 700c gravel bike and it does the job very well. while holding my bike. Keep in mind that this is not a heavy duty stand suitable for high traffic areas or even bike repairs. You definitely…
