I bought this jug more than a month ago and have been using it constantly ever since. This pitcher is made from very durable acrylic, you can remove the screen if you wish and use it without it. For the first batch, I added strawberries, lemon, blueberries, raspberries, and mint leaves to the teapot. The water turned out wonderful. In the next batch I added lemon, strawberries and mint leaves, sooo refreshing! And no artificial scrap. I even add some to my iced tea. Well now we all love this amazing jug, better than expected, highly recommend.
