Review on πŸƒ Nathan NS4912 Marathon Running Belt: Lightweight Training Pack with Stretch Pocket for Effective Performance by Jimmie Gebrehiwot

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Lightweight and comfortable marathon backpack

I used this backpack for trail runs and then a marathon. Pros: Comfortable fit. Loops for 4 gel packs. Plenty of space for cell phones and other small items. Bad: Gels fell out on dry runs, you need grip material in gel loops (workaround is to turn gels upside down. I also used a small piece of tape to secure but probably didn't need it). I use 5 gels per marathon. So one went in the front pocket. Belt loosens with running, but I think everyone does, at least in my 50+ marathons. Sometimes my hands tore gels (when running, I wear them backwards), but that's not a problem. I plan to run 5 marathons a year with this belt. It's too early to talk about durability.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Other
