4 months in use and the zipper is rusting

Bought in mid-June, in mid-October the zipper was noticeably rusty and the open/close function was badly affected. I use it 3-4 times a week in a row. I have never seen a Nathan product like this before so I am very disappointed. However, I'm a fan of inelastic tape.

Almost perfect for sports

Good size for carrying a large phone, some gels and other small items. My only complaint is that the strap slips off when I run and I have to make a few adjustments as I run to keep it in place but still comfortable. Maybe next time Nathan could stretch the strap a bit to allow for a snugger but more comfortable fit.

Cons

Bigger strap for longer runs. Cozy. Continuous.

Ideal for long runs. Holds four (or more) packs of sports beans, lip balm, tissues, iPhone, headphones, and I've added four water bottle holders. Despite all this, it stays safe and does not jump. I use two safety pins to secure the extra ends of the strap to keep them from dangling and the strap from loosening over time, but I've done this with every strap I've had.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Quality

Finally a bag big enough for ALL your essentials

What I've been waiting for! I've used the Nathan 5k for endurance racing and it's too small to carry my iPhone 6 around in its massive case, car key and power supply. It has enough room for an iPhone and has a divider to keep it separate from the key and there's plenty of room for power. (Now if only someone could make a hydration belt for a bottle with a compartment big enough for new iPhones!) That's a big improvement over the 5k.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Won't stay in place

I like the holster on this belt. But this belt needs to be paired with this belt: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019BQNTL0 /ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Nathan's belt will bounce around unless you really tighten it . It needs elastic straps and the belt mentioned above was great and I had two of these but the zippers broke on both in less than a year. This won't happen to Nathan's belt if it stays in place. Nathan, please use the rubber bands to hold it in place. Haven't…

Lightweight and comfortable marathon backpack

I used this backpack for trail runs and then a marathon. Pros: Comfortable fit. Loops for 4 gel packs. Plenty of space for cell phones and other small items. Bad: Gels fell out on dry runs, you need grip material in gel loops (workaround is to turn gels upside down. I also used a small piece of tape to secure but probably didn't need it). I use 5 gels per marathon. So one went in the front pocket. Belt loosens with running, but I think everyone does, at least in my 50+ marathons. Sometimes my…
