If I didn't check corked bottles my business would be ruined! First, if you push the cork all the way in, it will NOT come out effortlessly. And when you pull it, the BLACK top comes off revealing the cork. USE the wine key on the cork and watch the old cork break into pieces! but still! Pull out. These parts could have ended up in the wine! I inserted the plugs carefully which worked well but they stick out as I didn't have time to order others. The gold foil is beautiful, although the top is gold the rest is a darker brown which keeps the cork covered and stable. WON'T BUY ANY MORE. Almost embarrassed his shop in front of customers!
