Incorrectly sized parts made assembly difficult
It was almost impossible to get the handlebars onto the fork/HIC bearings, but we did it in about 30 minutes. Based on the instructions and the many YouTube build videos this should have slipped the first time, so it was clear that either the steerer tube was too narrow or the fork/bearing was too wide. My son loves it so far but has only driven it for about 15 minutes (arrived in the dark at night) so we'll see how it holds up. Seems pretty strong.
