Firstly it didn't work with my early 2011 personal Mac. It had the right ports, but it just wouldn't connect to any of the external monitors I tried. I have a late 2013 Mac at work (model A1502). Before I sent this item back I thought what the heck should I try this one. Brought it and it works as expected with my work Mac. Also, I've read some reviews from people with Mac 2018+ saying it won't work - it's because Apple abandoned those "old" ports in favor of USB-3/Thunderbolt3, leaving U-Green for these not working models. Mac too. Lessons Learned - If your Mac is too old (or too new), it probably doesn't help you!
