This rear seat dog hammock looks good (conveniently it's light gray instead of heat absorbing black) and is likely to be durable and easy to clean. The lining is thin so I added extra foam padding underneath. This car doesn't have large, adjustable headrests in the back seat, so I had to use lots of safety pins to attach the rear straps of the cover to the headrest 'buttons' on the seat. Door protection flaps are not ideal for this machine, but are intended to prevent the dog's paws from getting into the space between the seat and the doors. This hammock would probably be easier to fit into a much newer car, but this Honda has a lot more miles to go before it falls asleep.
