I was unable to install this on my 2009 Toyota Corolla S. Although they look like the original shoes, I found that getting the drum back onto the wheel proved impossible. They're just too big. And yes, I adjusted the pads and cleaned the hub before installation. It is possible that the shoes are similar to Beck shoes which will require modification prior to fitting. The modifications consist of having to grind down the tabs on the side to actually fit the drum into the boots. I gave it up.
