Review on Pump Sentry 822 PS- Ensuring Sump Pump Efficiency during Emergencies with Sec America by Robert Grimm

My sump pump runs at least once a minute, especially in winter/spring due to the high water table. If my power goes out for even an hour, my basement starts flooding. I bought a Pump Sentry to ensure my pump keeps running during a power outage. While researching this product, I contacted SEC America with questions about the drain pump and backup battery. They did a great job with me, answering all of my questions and providing recommendations for my specific situation. I bought the recommended battery which will hopefully power the sump pump for up to 48 hours. Pump Sentry is quick and easy to install. The device is quite heavy and the included battery cables are really built for heavy use. When we tested it by unplugging it, the Pump Sentry immediately switched to battery power for a few seconds, then switched back once power was restored. Although the device is expensive, I'm glad it's made in the USA and the manufacturer is very helpful. The device was also delivered quickly and well packaged. I can sleep easy knowing that my sump pump will keep running during downtime, avoiding future costly and destructive flooding.
