Review on YIYITOOLS 16-Oz. Steel Forged Rip Claw Hammer With Mirror-Polished Head And Non-Slip Handle by Jason Wilson

Compact and easy to use

Most of the time, all I need a hammer for is putting in some nails to hang art. I have an art gallery and don't need a huge hammer. This little guy is great. It's easy to hold, which is something considering many hammers are just too big and bulky. And I hate buying some pink, delicate hammer just because I'm a woman. I just want a hammer that fits well in my hand, and let's face it, most hammers are made for men. This one could easily work for both, but it's definitely easier for me to hold. It's very ergonomic as it has grooves for your fingers, which means I'm less likely to drop it. And the shorter length makes it easier to use and control, which means far fewer hit thumbs and swear words. It's still heavy duty enough to pull out nails and the claw end will come in handy pulling apart boards or anything else we might use that for. The hammer part is pretty much standard size -- it's the handle that's just shorter and easier to grip.I've only used it a few times but so far I like it. And the small size makes it easier to store. It's heavy enough to pound in the heavier nails and perfect for the smaller nails I use most of the time. This is great when you aren't a contractor and don't need a huge hammer for huge jobs. Perfect for projects around the house and hanging art. And it fits perfectly inside my small tool box.
