It's great when it works.
This is my second 808RC4 tripod. First something broke in the panel latch. The call to Manfrotto America's headquarters was disappointing. I would have to send it to them to fix it. I was told that Italy would be closed for a month for national holidays. So if the head needs parts it could take 6-8 weeks to fix. Plus, with round-trip shipping plus repair costs, I can get over $75. Long story. but right. I just bought another one for about $125. It was much easier and MUCH faster since I had a photo session. Just hope your tripod head doesn't break and you stake it in a hurry. The rest of the equipment is excellent.
