The kettle is excellent. Heat water to a specific temperature for green tea, white tea, french press coffee, etc. The kettle heats up 10 times faster (which is cheaper) than a stovetop kettle. This teapot is great. 18 months later it is leaking and there is water on the countertop. Cuisinart says box it up with proof of purchase and a $15 check, ship it to Arizona and get a replacement (guaranteed?). In reviews, it is often criticized that the pan is leaking. Am I willing to take the risk? Like sticking your hand in the fire a second time to see if it's really hot. $15 and another $15 shipping and two weeks sales if I'm lucky? nope I just ordered a $30 kettle from Revain Secura which has 4 1/2 stars out of 4000 reviews.
